I moved to NYC about two months ago and have recently noticed that I'm having trouble breathing. The air seems heavy (inside the house where I'm living). I'm renting a room without windows (been here 2 months) have an air purifier although that doesnt seem to be much help. ...

I saw some at Sharper Image that were quite expensive, I never had one of those, but it supposedly helps clean the air and makes you healthier....true? Is it worth the money spent?

I changed the carbon filter, cleaned two others, made sure the metal blades are not touching each other. I looked thru troubleshooting section in the manual and didn't see anything regarding this issue.

I have really bad allergies and I live in a dusty area. Do they get rid of the dust too because I **** dusting because I have a lot of surfaces and its super annoying. I've been looking at the Ionic Breeze and a Honeywell with a Hepa.Maybell
